Born in Seoul, South Korea and moving to New York City in her childhood, Dr. Jenise Kwak attended and graduated from Columbia University. After her time in the big city she attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine (NSUCDM) in Fort Lauderdale, FL receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
After graduating, Dr. Kwak has been committed to continuing education through extensive training to become an Invisalign provider in Pflugerville, TX. Furthermore, she has completed training in implant surgery through the Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Center (AIC) and completed international surgical implant training to gain knowledge in all aspects of dental implant surgery. On top of her education, Dr. Kwak is currently an active member of the American Dental Associations, Texas Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Originally attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City before attending Columbia University and NSUCDM to pursue dentistry has shaped Dr. Kwak’s passions for the scientific and artistic aspects of modern dentistry. Science ensures that her dental work is durable, reliable, and safe. Also, art warrants that her dental work is life-like, elegant, and boosts your confidence. Above all, Dr. Kwak is a compassionate dentist. Her primary goal is to ensure that patients of all ages have a positive experience at the dentist. She accomplishes this by prioritizing establishing genuine relationships with patients. Dr. Kwak is closely involved with every aspect of each dental appointment and is passionate about teaching patients how to keep their teeth and gums healthy.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Kwak enjoys working out, running 5k races, experiencing new foods, and traveling with her husband, who is also a dentist!
Dr. Preston Hansen is a highly skilled dentist who graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL, in 2017. Following dental school, he completed a one-year residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Hansen’s journey to dentistry was unique, starting as a film major in college before realizing that dentistry would be the perfect way to combine his creativity with his desire to help people.
Passionate about providing the best care for his patients, Dr. Hansen actively seeks continuous education opportunities, attending various courses throughout the year. He has honed his expertise in implant surgery and restoration, full mouth rehabilitation, TMJ disorders and Invisalign, keeping himself up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies.
Among his favorite procedures are crowns and bridges, root canals, TMJ disorder treatment and creating functional smiles. Dr. Hansen’s dedication to professional growth and excellence is evident from his recent accomplishment of becoming a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). This prestigious achievement required completing 500 continuing education hours, maintaining AGD membership for three continuous years, and acing a comprehensive 250-question exam covering all aspects of dentistry.
Currently, Dr. Hansen is a member of several dental associations, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, and the AGD. His thirst for knowledge and personal growth motivates him to pursue his mastership in the AGD after completing his fellowship.
Beyond his dental practice, Dr. Hansen enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, reading, and cherishing moments with his beloved wife, Dr. Kwak and his daughter. He is thrilled to share this joyful journey with his patients and colleagues alike. So, if you see him around the office, don’t hesitate to extend your warm greetings!
Ileanna was born in Harlingen, Tx and raised in Austin, Texas. She has been working as a dental assistant since 2018. Ileanna joined Lykke Dentistry since its opening in 2023. Her goal as a dental assistant is to make sure her patients are comfortable. She focuses on providing a positive experience for the patients so they want to come back regularly. When Ileanna is not working, she enjoys baking, cooking and spending time with my family and friends.
Fun fact: Ileanna has a fish named Brian – spoiled solo!
Tierra was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She graduated from Everest Institute in 2016 and she has been a dental assistant for 9 years. Tierra’s goals as a dental assistant are for the patient to have the best experience and to support the doctor in every way. When she is not working she enjoys cooking, braiding hair and spending time with her 13 year-old daughter.
Fun fact: Tierra was a kindergarten teacher for over a decade until she switched her career.
Monica was born and raised in Austin, Texas; a true Austenite. Monica joined our team in July of 2023. Monica is a passionate and driven professional with over 20 years of experience in the insurance verification, billing as a treatment coordinator, and her current role of office manager. Monica enjoys interacting and building relationships with our patients. Her priority is to ensure that all of our patients have a wonderful experience. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her children and spouse of 17 years.
Fun fact: Monica loves watching documentaries. If you are a docu-fan, talk to her about it, very likely she already watched it.
